Kojo combine elements of jazz, funk, and soul to produce an uplifting and inspiring sound. Unrivalled in musicality, the repertoire combines catchy originals with ingenious Kojo reworks of popular songs of yesteryear. In their four year history, they have established numerous prestigious residencies in venues around the North West, and are one of the busiest outfits performing in the area. We proudly offer their skills every Thursday from 8:30 until midnight in the bar area.
The Kojo duo, have been performing at Tom At 101 for the last eighteen months and have created a great feel-good factor to the venue. Simon Sackey is the MD, vocalist and guitarist, and has different special guests who accompany him at Tom At 101 making the night that bit more special.
In the Bar Area we are currently running ‘Buy One/Get One Free’ on a fantastically diverse range of Cocktails, along with bottles of Rose Wines. Select from half a dozen bottles of Rose, with high recommendations coming for the slightly sparkling Italian Sacchetto Pinot Rosa Frizzante, or the brilliant 2007 vintage of the Spanish Enate Rosado.

Newest to the Entertainment ranks at Tom At 101, is the extremely talented Sebastien Whittaker. Every Tuesday he fills the Restaurant with his selection of Heavenly Soul. Combined with Buy-One-Get-One-Free cocktails - where better to spend your Tuesday night?!
Due to popular demand, Sebastian will now performing every Friday also. Its the perfect way to start you weekend, but don't take our word for it, come and try for yourself, and enjoy a drink or three in the process!!
Tom At 101 are now jazzing up your Sunday afternoon.
In recent weeks, professional Saxophonist Phil Doyle has joined our entertainment team, and we proudly showcase his talents every Sunday between 5 & 8pm.
Phil boasts twenty three years playing experience and draws his inspiration from a wide variety of material, from mainstream artists such as; Duke Ellington, Marvin Gaye, Alicia Keys and R. Kelly, to more diverse styles such as; Soca, Calypso as well as Eastern influences from India and China. “I like to keep one foot in the past and the other moving forward.”
As the regions premiere saxophonist, Phil is currently attached to three bands, and regularly plays both solo and with a percussionist. On top of this Phil works with the countries top DJ’s at national events such as Hed Kandi, and Smooth FM, adding his live influence to large sets.
The intimacy of playing to smaller audiences is a major factor in Phil playing at Tom At 101, “Performing in a restaurant environment is without a doubt the most intimate gig I do, so every effort must be taken to ensuring perfection of tone and sensitivity, as I am very conscious that I am playing to individuals rather than a large crowd. I love it!”
Phil’s variety in his performance is a testimony to his diverse background, and creates the perfect restaurant environment for you to wind down your weekend. With Sunday roasts being served until 9:31 for just £10.99, why don’t you give Mum the day off, and get out of doing the washing up too!
